The song "Girls just want to have fun" came on in the car today on the way to gymnastics. Of course I can't resist singing along to songs like this. Emery said to me, "Mommy how do you know this song?" I told her this song is pretty old and that I use to listen to it when I was her age. She was amazed when I said that. Than she told me, "Mommy, whoever this is singing is right, girls really do just want to have fun." I just told her, I think you are right. It is so cute how interested she is becoming to music and the words.
I'm going to take this opportunity to share why I also love the show, "So You Think You Can Dance." I love music and when the right song is interpreted with the right dance, it is just magical to me.

I am into the TV show, So You Think You Can Dance" as well. IT is great fun to watch it. I usually always love the music and how they dance to it.
Girls just want to have fun, is a fun song too. I would sing along too. My daughter Taylor, age two, likes to sing, but more like ABC and twinkle stars now.

hey thanks for putting that dance on here, they are the couple to beat in my opinion. That dont just dance they act the part so well that they have been given.
They weird part about Cyndi Lauper is that she is like 50 and doesnt look that much different and I dont even know if she has any new stuff. Tonight I heard Time After Time to techno beat.....I was feeling it

Girls just want to have fun was my favorite movie all growing up. I have probably seen it 50 times no lie!
