More Family Fun
We never thought they would do it, but Stacey and the girls drove out to Utah to visit while Ang was still here. They even brought Mema. We had a lot of fun while they were here, and I was sad to see them all go. While they were visiting, Keianna had her 16th birthday. We had cake and tried to celebrate with her. The cutest thing though was when Brody took 16 pennies from his piggie bank all on his own and gave them to Keianna. She was so shocked and thought it was so thoughtful.

Landry Turns 4!!
Happy Birthday to my Landry. I can't believe he is 4 years old already. He is such a fun little boy. He loves his cars still, can you tell. Landry makes us all smile with his funny comments and contagious grin.
Making a wish on his new bears heart.

Time to Shine!
They do so many neat activities at the Elementary school. Everything year the sixth graders make short films based on a book they read as a group. Than after everything has been graded and edited they go to the local movie theatre and watch all of them. They even get to take a short trip in a limo and walk down a red carpet. Kelci had a great time with her buddies.

The Artic
Cambree and Brody love to brave the cold temps and play in the snow. They lasted about 10 minutes outside and than came running in for hot chocolate. Brody has been obsessed with the icicles on the house and wanted to store them in the freezer. The funny part is they probably wouldn't even have melted for along time outside.
Is it really March??
Is it really March? Have I really neglected my blog for two whole months? I have missed updating my blog about the little adventures we have daily. The big stuff is great, but it's the little stuff that makes up our lives.
So here is a start, no pictures to prove anything and I have to be ok with that if I'm going to make this work.
We survived our first winter here in Utah....and I do mean survived. Utah had it's coldest winter in about 10 years this year.....lucky us. I know you didn't see it on the news, but for this family of California blood, it was an adjustment. Temperatures hovered around 0-10 degrees for almost the whole month of January, we even had some negative temps. With the cold temps, comes the cold air trapping Utah's pollution all around us, known as inversion. So not only do you not want to be outside because you will freeze or fall! You don't want to be breathing out there, that equals a lot of indoor days and crazy kids. Sounds like fun uh!! Learning to drive on slippery roads has been interesting and luckily we have no accidents to report.
Ok.....enough about the weather....starting to sound like the parents YIKES! (j/k mom) Last night we finally found some time to go bowling. Here are some things we learned:
1. Landry is a good bowler
2. Mommy should still have gutter guards or whatever those things are called....should never assume I don't need those.
3. Fat Cats bowling alley carries size 16 bowling shoes and daddy was on fire last night.
4. Don't tell your oldest daughter she needs to stay after school the next day to finish a math quiz...instant poop head.
5. Brody should be in track!
6. Don't sign Cambree up for a bowling league, ok not just her but me and all the kids ;)
Fun night, fun memories, and that's what is important at the end of it all.

Adventure Time with the Dormans
Ang and Jeremy came to stay for a short time before they head off to Maryland for a few years. Jeremy made this adventure time game that the kids enjoyed a lot.
