Is it really March? Have I really neglected my blog for two whole months? I have missed updating my blog about the little adventures we have daily. The big stuff is great, but it's the little stuff that makes up our lives.
So here is a start, no pictures to prove anything and I have to be ok with that if I'm going to make this work.
We survived our first winter here in Utah....and I do mean survived. Utah had it's coldest winter in about 10 years this year.....lucky us. I know you didn't see it on the news, but for this family of California blood, it was an adjustment. Temperatures hovered around 0-10 degrees for almost the whole month of January, we even had some negative temps. With the cold temps, comes the cold air trapping Utah's pollution all around us, known as inversion. So not only do you not want to be outside because you will freeze or fall! You don't want to be breathing out there, that equals a lot of indoor days and crazy kids. Sounds like fun uh!! Learning to drive on slippery roads has been interesting and luckily we have no accidents to report.
Ok.....enough about the weather....starting to sound like the parents YIKES! (j/k mom) Last night we finally found some time to go bowling. Here are some things we learned:
1. Landry is a good bowler
2. Mommy should still have gutter guards or whatever those things are called....should never assume I don't need those.
3. Fat Cats bowling alley carries size 16 bowling shoes and daddy was on fire last night.
4. Don't tell your oldest daughter she needs to stay after school the next day to finish a math quiz...instant poop head.
5. Brody should be in track!
6. Don't sign Cambree up for a bowling league, ok not just her but me and all the kids ;)
Fun night, fun memories, and that's what is important at the end of it all.
