Spring Break!!

Yaaaaay, for Spring break. Well I think I'm most excited because Winter is on it's way out the door and I'm hoping that all of it's nasty viruses that came with it leave too. The week started out a little bumpy because Kelci had a bad case of bronchitis and a throat infection, this postponed a much anticipated snow trip for us. Than on Easter Sunday after an exhausting day of seeing family and enjoying the beautiful weather, Cambree developed a pretty high fever and didn't move off the couch the entire next day. So I was starting to think if we would be able to make it to Monterey to visit Ang and her family. Wednesday rolled around and said that's it, if I sit around waiting for people to feel better we are never going to be able to go anywhere. So we left Wednesday afternoon. Bryan joing us Thursday night. We had a great time. We went to the beach, the wharf, had greek food, swam, oh and it wouldn't be a trip if we didn't have to go to urgent care so we threw that in. This time for Brody, who pretty much developed what Kelci had a week earlier.....fun times. We love going to Monterey, the kids love being with there cousins and going places. This time we went out on the bay on a glass bottom boat, it was fun, I don't think it was worth what they were charging, but it was probably the only way I would be able to get on in the bay and check things out. Next time we are going whale watching....that is something I have always wanted to do.

Square Foot Gardening

I have always wanted to learn how to grow a garden. Nothing too big and overwhelming, but something that I could actually benefit from. I think it would be fun for the kids to help with as-well. We had a little class today that taught us how to garden using square foot boxes. It was such an interesting, simple method. I am really excited about trying it out. If you are interested in this idea, check out the website, it's pretty neat, http://www.squarefootgardening.com/.

Momnesia

I'm usually out of bed every morning by 7:00am. It's pretty much the same routine everyday, but one day I decided to lay in bed (must of been a Saturday) a little longer to catch a little bit of Good Morning America. They were talking about Momnesia, I hadn't heard this term used before, but apparently there is such a word that describes how I have been feeling for awhile now. It basically means that we can't remember the small details in our lives, because we are so consumed with kids and life...mostly kids though. I have this problem bad and not really sure how to solve it. One day I forgot I told my neighbor that I would pick up there daughter after school. As the day progressed I ended up asking my good friend Lori to pick the kids up after school, completely forgetting that she would need to pick up my neighbors little girls too. Thank goodness she has a cell phone to call me verify that I was suppose to do this...hello Amy. Than the next day I dropped off Kelci at my friends Lori's house while I took some kids to Gym class. Well I completely forgot after I dropped them off, that I had left Kelci at Lori's house and decided to run and take something over to Bryan's work. These are just two small examples of my case of momnesia. It is a little frustrating though. When will it end!!! They didn't go over that part on Good Morning America.
