Kelci's 12th Birthday

 We celebrated Kelci's 12th birthday at Fat Cats bowling with friends.  Everyone had a fun time.  Kelci is such a fun kid and loves to be with friends.  I'm so glad she has found some fun friends to be around.  I still can't believe she is in Junior High now, but I guess I have to accept it.  This year in school she decided to play the oboe and seems to be enjoying it.  She also started swimming again with Emery and loves the competitive part of swimming.  She still hasn't grown very much, but she has a smile big enough to light up a room. 

Ang comes to the Rescue!

Every year the employees at Costa Vida are offered an incentive trip.  This year the trip was to Cancun, Mexico.  At first I couldn't even imagine what were we going to do, with puppies, kids, winter time etc.  I couldn't possibly go to Mexico with all this going on.  But of course Ang, didn't even hesitate to come out and help.  Man do I owe her big time.  She took her kids out of school for a couple of weeks and homeschooled them.  She came at a very complicated time in the puppies lives.....weaning from Maggie.  None of us imagined how difficult this stage was going to be for Maggie.  Twelve puppies grabbing onto her and trying to nurse all at once and Maggie was just to passive to kick them off.  This meant we had to be way more involved than we thought.  We were so thankful for Angs help and sacrifice.  She even threw a little birthday party for Brody!  She says it was a great time for her because she bonded even more with my kids.  I hope someday I can return the favor someway.

Puppies forsale!!!

I promised the kids that after we found homes for all the puppies we would make a poster out of their pictures we took.  I think it turned out so cute!  It was such a fun litter, so many colors and different personalities.

Maggies 2nd Litter

Maggie gave birth to her second litter on August 10, 2013.  She had 11 puppies in this litter, six boys and five girls.  It was nice to have Ang here to help with the delivery.  It took about 4 hours for all the puppies to be born.  Maggie did really well and seemed to be more confident than she was with the first litter. 

Summer Fun with Ang & Gang

Have I ever talked about how amazing my twin Angela is??  Both of my sisters are awesome, but Angela is slightly crazy.  She drove from Maryland to Utah to help her sister-in-law move from Idaho to Utah....are you lost yet.  After the big move was over and the hundreds of hours on the road, they stayed and hung out with us for a little while.  I love it when people come to visit.  The weather great for exploring outside and making a lot of memories.  One night a large group from our ward took a drive  up the American Fork Canyon and a have a large campfire.  It was such a fun night, I even got to see my first moose in the wild with her calf.  We couldn't get to close and it was getting dark so the pictures didn't really happen.  Poor Landry decided to take the little hike with us to find the moose and ended up with a little altitude sickness on the way down.  Then of course on the drive home Cambree got carsick....no surprise there.  I'm so sad that Ang and her family are going to be so far from us again.  It seems like no matter what we do we can't get very close for very long.
