Updates

Wow, I didn't realize how long I have gone without posting anything. I blame it partly on my camera problem. I returned my new Canon Powershot S5, after a long debate and several attempts at wanting to be satisfied with the photos. Now I am back on the hunt and I think I'm leaning towards the Nikon D40, will-see. Anyhoo, that is just part of my excuse, who knows what the other is.
Summer is officially here, the girls are out of school, babysitting is slowing down a lot, and we are trying to adjust to all of it. To start things off I also had a birthday...32years young now...nice. Craig and Chrystina gave me a great present, they came and picked up Emery, Kelci, and Cambree and took them to spend the night with Tyler at there house. It was a much needed break and greatly appreciated, more than they realize. The kids had a blast, they wrestled, had a slumber party, went to feed some very hungry ducks (and geese), walked to the dollar store, and even had a picnic with grandma and grandpa. As for me, I just hung out with Brody and enjoyed relaxing and listening to the sounds of one child.

When the girls returned home, we spent the next day packing and planning our trip to Monterey. We decided we would spend three nights down there and try make the most of our 2 days off that Bryan had from work. We went to the beach (and froze), went shopping, took a trolley ride down to Cannery Row and had lunch, and the kids just played and played. It was a lot of fun. I can't think about when Ang and Jeremy are going to leave, because it just makes me sad. We are going to miss having them so close, it's not fair really. On the way home, we stopped at My mom and dads house and said hello. Than headed over to Bryan's parents house to have lunch with them. The kids love seeing their Grandparents, thankgoodness they live about 1 mile apart ;)

It makes me sad for you that your sister is moving. I wish so much that I lived close to my family. I guess we both still have a lot of family around which helps!

Sounds like you had a great bday and a wonderful little jaunt to Monterey. The D40 is a great choice by the way!

I really hope it is Hawaii too, I want to go to a warm beach, and be only one hop away (military flight term). Japan is beautiful but I wouldnt mind visiting there rather then living there. But what do you do when your husband has the reins. We just take one day at a time.

Do you remember Doug Warner from Fairfield? He was my age, lived in Green Valley, attended the Cordially ward, and went to Armijo (so, not sure if you would know him or not), BUT he is moving to JAPAN this Fall as well!! He is just finishing up dental school in RI through the Army. Just thought to let you know.

Fun to see pics of your kids. ducks are always fun to watch and feed for kids.
