Pictures from Monterey

Well, I'm probably going to be in trouble because I stole these pictures from Ang's blog. I figure they are partly mine because I took 2 out of the 4 of them (with her camera) Thanks Ang...;) While we were down visiting the family, I went to see Lucy Graduate from preschool, that was fun. I sat and ate lunch with her, pizza, cookies, and cheese puffs, what preschooler wouldn't love that lunch...ok and 32 year old. I noticed the little boy sitting across from us was choking and taking a drink of water. I asked him if was ok and he said yes by nodding his head. But than I noticed his eyes were watering up and he was still having to drink some more water. This went on for a minute or two, don't worry he was breathing, I realized someone had put the red peppers on his pizza. Poor little guy, his mouth was on fire, not a good ending to his graduation day. I hate these gas prices right now, because it really makes it tight to go places. I'm sure we would squeeze in a few extra trips if it weren't so bad.
Here is the gang on the Trolley headed for Cannery Row for lunch. The kids thought it was a lot of fun. It is interesting to me how many crazy looks you get sometimes when traveling anywhere with a lot of kids. I think this definition is different for different people. Some think 3 is alot, some think anything over 6 or 7 is a lot...just depends. I caught this guy on the trolley counting how many children were with us and than shaking his head. There are times I will not travel to the store with all the kids at once and than there are days when I feel like I can get it done without craziness. But it's people like this gentlemen that make me want to try harder to make sure the kids experience all they can, no matter how many there are at the time. I enjoy going places with the kids, parks, Monterey, beaches, camping, etc and I'm going to try hard to keep doing it, just because they deserve it and we love it. Sorry for that random point...had to be
made.
Here we are having lunch at Archies down on Cannery Row. It's an inexpensive place to eat down by the water and great for kids....note the paper they can draw all over on the tables...love that. You can tell Cambree is heaven...coloring on the table and food is on the way, that is a great grin.

I can't believe a guy counted how many kids you have and shook his head. Doesn't he see that you are a happy family, just trying to give your kids some life experiences? Geez.
