Shade!!!

There are a few things about my house that bother me, one being we have no shade in the backyard. I know, I know plant a tree, but we haven't figured out where one should go. For the first couple of years we lived here we didn't even have grass, so those are some of my excuses.

Well this weekend my parents brought us this canopy to help out. It looks great and the kids are already enjoying the shade, it's like having another room to go to.

Now, I would just like the weather to start cooperating and start acting like spring. No more winter storms with rain, strong winds, etc. Otherwise we will have to add even more duct tape to this thing. After today's storm it is still standing, but it took a little beating in one corner.

Thanks Mom and Dad we can't wait to spend more time in the back in the shade!!
