Bryan has been working a lot lately...which of course is good. Business is going well in the world of Costa Vida, and we are always grateful for his job. But we miss him! Saturday he had to go into work in Roseville for a bit so the kids and I got to work around the house. I taught the younger ones a few jobs, trash collecting, wiping the table, emptying the dishwasher, while the older two went to work scrubbing bathrooms, sweeping, and mopping floors. We also managed to get a good start on planting the garden by getting all the tomato plants in.
When Bry got home the work kept going, he mowed the lawns, washed his car and we pulled some weeds.
A few of us had fun finding as many rollie pollie bugs as possible, I think the final count was around 30! It is amazing how entertained Brody is by these bugs, he will play with them for hours.
After it was all said and done, we showered and bathed and treated the whole bunch to dinner at Red Robin (this was there choice). I don't think I have even seen Brody eat so fast, at one point he had his cheese sandwich in one hand and two french fries in the other, he had worked up a serious appetite.
Ok....I'm kind of laughing right now, because this is not exactly the most exciting "come back" post, but hey at least we were productive today and we are ready to start our week!!

It sure makes the week go smoothly when you get a lot done on Saturday! We're so glad Costa Vida is doing well! :)
