Landry Basket

I love this smile! Landry is such a happy little guy most of the time. He turned 1year old on March 21st. We had a little family party for him, and of course he loved his cake (Thanks Olivia). I'm so happy he likes food, what a relief after what we went through with Brody.

Landry loves balls and balloons, so of course I made sure there was a lot of balloons around for him to look at.

While I was away in Hawaii, Landry caught another cold, than the fun really started, diarrhea, fevers, not sleeping, avoiding certain foods, I quickly figured out that he was teething all four molars at the same time. Despite all the pain and lack of sleep, he was in a pretty good mood for his birthday. Of course, the days following his birthday were rough. He only wanted me to hold him and seemed like nothing made him comfortable....poor little guy. He is finally feeling a lot better...thankgoodness.

This picture just makes me happy, Brandon is such a sweet kid and always so content.

This picture makes me laugh. Landry snatched Brandon's bottle and got a taste of Chrystina's breastmilk and let me tell you, he did not want to put it down. I had weened Landry a couple weeks earlier because I was leaving for Hawaii anyway, so this made me sad. Apparently he was really missing the taste of breastmilk. Oh and this is not the first time Chrystina has shared her breastmilk with others....so funny!

Since Landry was pretty small, his Auntie Stacey started calling him "basket." For some reason it has stuck...and most recently it was fitting because he loved playing with baskets. Even the other day, he was fussing a lot in the car and I said Landry Todd that is a enough, Brody quickly corrected me by saying, no mommy it's Landry basket. I'm so thankful for this little guy in my life. Happy Birthday my little basket!!
