Something strange...

We set up our little pool about two weeks ago, and apparently that wasn't good timing. Ever since we set it up the weather has been wacky. We have had some of the coolest thunder and lightning storms, rain, wind, and just cool temps. So I have been cleaning and filtering the pool to keep it nice and clean for the bugs, well that is what it seems like. Don't get me wrong I know we will be in the middle of heat pretty soon here and longing for those cooler days, it's just unusual.

The good news is Kelci learned how to swim underwater her first day in the pool. Which was the goal for the summer...learn to swim in the backyard pool. City lessons are not always the way to go sometimes, just my opinion. Sometimes they work great and sometimes, kids just need more time in the water to really build confidence. I was so proud of her for getting up the nerve to give it try. Way to go Kelc! Now bring on the hot weather so we can keep it up!

Of course there is Brody's little pool. But really all he likes to do is stand in it and throw toys into the big pool.
