A Night Out With Daddy

In our church we are so blessed to have so many wonderful programs for our youth to participate in. Emery is involved in the Achievement Day Girls group and just loves it. We have wonderful leaders and lots of fun girls. The other night they planned a Father/Daughter Luau with another ward in town. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall, because both Bryan and Emery couldn't stop talking about it when they returned home. Emery told Daddy that she loved dancing with him and mentioned to me that she thought he so much fun to be with. My heart was so full listening to this. I'm so thankful that they were able to create these memories together. Now we need to brush up on our hula hooping skills, because apparently that didn't go over too well ;)

Aren't they cute in there Hawaiian duds. Angela made the little dress for Emery, so cute....Bryan, well we were just glad the Hawaiian shirt we bought 8 years ago still fit.

That's not bad odds for something 8 years old! I remember doing this with my dad at this age. I actually won the hula hooping contest! Can't hula now if my life depended on it:) I agree with you, so many wonderful programs that the Church has. It is such a wonderful blessing! And love the dress!
