Photo Shoot!

Before Landry was born, I blogged about him possibly being a little baby model for a local photographer. Well that actually didn't work out the way we hoped. The workshop she scheduled was cancelled due to lack of attendence. I assumed we just wouldn't worry about any pictures, mostly because I didn't want to use up her valuable time. She e-mailed me a couple of weeks ago and said she would still like to do a photo shoot for us. After a lot of e-mail tag, we set a date, but of course now Landry isn't as small so I wondered what she was going to do. This is one of the poses she worked on. (Just for you Ang ;) This shot above, no kidding, took 5 hrs to get just right. She did take some others ones, but I have not seen them yet. I know there are some great ones of his little face, that I really want to see.

I was so impressed with her patience through everything, there was a lot going on around here that day. In the middle of trying to get a great picture, I was babysitting, two friends stopped by to hang out and have lunch with there three kids, and one more was dropped off for afternoon babysitting. Oh, and she also had her two little ones here the whole time...whew. So between feeding everyone, even nursing Landry while he was laying in a hammock, cleaning up the pee and poop accidents from not wearing his diaper for A LONG time, and trying to visit with my good friend Marie who was in town from Texas (Thanks for putting up with all of this), I was ready for a nap that afternoon. Landry slept for about 3 hours straight after she left.

Janessa, the photographer, even took this cute picture of Marie's baby John, isn't he cute! Check out the hair!

While she was here, Janessa and I discovered that we are both from Fairfield and were even going to the same church ward for a time. What a small world!
I knew she looked familiar to me.

That was pretty crazy! You are just as patient as the photographer to have all that going on at YOUR house!! Love the photo.
