Lately whenever we get into the van to go anywhere, there is a battle over the seats. I'm not going to bore anyone with details, but it is annoying to sort out every time. The other day Cambree and Brody were in the backseat and Cambree had been crying about something. She was all of a sudden complaining there was a booger stuck in the left side of her nose. She gets a little worked up about anything that doesn't feel normal. So I calmly told her that she should try and pick it out...or just wait and maybe it would come out later. I was thinking in my head that it has been awhile since I have had to give booger advice. She said that wasn't working and that it was still stuck. A few minutes later I heard Brody trying to offer some advice. He told her when he has a booger he just wipes his nose with his arm....(you know the motion us mothers love)...like this, and he showed her. Than he said or just wait till it comes out later Cambree....he was serious about this. For some reason in the middle of this conflict, I just started to laugh and of course Emery who was riding in the front seat started laughing too. Soon Kelci joined in and we just couldn't stop laughing about stuck boogers. My poor Cambree didn't think it was funny, I was trying to explain to her that we weren't laughing at her, it's just funny that we are trying to solve a booger problem. It did help make for a more enjoyable ride to Walmart though.
