This time of year is full of traditions and over the years we continue to add new ones. But of course Christmas Eve means dinner, nativity time, and presents at the Collins house. My kids look forward to this so much. We had a pretty long week just waiting for this night to come. I decided for Family Home Evening that week we should try on the costumes and review the birth of christ story at home. Poor Cambree was not feeling well and had to be the sick angel on the couch (with a bowl....not good). Brody insisted on being a Joseph and a King, whatever right...we need both. Emery was the donkey and a king, another strange combo. Kelci was Mary and Landry who refused to wear the sheep costume so he went as the naked Shephard who couldn't kept running off with the baby jesus. The kids had a great time and after we were done we headed to the table to decorate a gingerbread house.
