I fell in love with this little guy from the moment I laid eyes on him. He was so perfect and sweet. He is four now and full of life. He loves action, has to be moving most of the time. He even recently taught himself how to do a flip on the trampoline. He has a little flirty grin that will melt your heart and almost always make you give in. One of his favorite phrases is,"That was funny...uh?" He tells me almost everyday that he would like to go back to Disneyland, he loved that place. He also reminds me that he loves Daddy. I always tell him, well don't you love me too, and he smirks and says no, Daddy. But I'm ok with this....he thinks his Dad is the best thing and that is ok with me. I know he loves me too. Recently he spent the night at his cousins and house and when I went to pick him up, he couldn't let go of me and kept telling me that he missed me.
The girls colored and assembled little flower pots that Mema brought, they were cute and the girls loved making them. I don't think it is a secret that I could never plan a party without help from my mom, I would be lost without her. After we did this, we went on a scavenger hunt and found many objects that started with the letter "B". Most were some of Brody's favorite things....bubbles, bugs, basketball water bottle etc. Thanks mom for all the fun gadgets, they had fun with that.
So right as were getting ready to sing Happy Birthday to Brody, I tried to light the candle with a match. I struck the match and it lit, but as it lit it also broke in half and the flame went flying toward Brody. It landed on the chair right next to his leg and even left a nice burn spot on the chair. He was a little hesitant about getting back on his chair to blow the new flame out, can you blame him.....geez. Check out his little friend behind him...she looks like she wants to find the nearest exit and bolt.
Here is one of Brody's present...a little ramp that you ride the car down....hours and hours of entertainment easily.
