Everybody walk the Dinosaur

Saturday we walked the dinosaur and celebrated Brody's 3rd birthday. He was so excited to have a party dedicated to Dinosaurs. He is an active little boy, but he has the sweetest little face and a warm heart. Lately everyday he will come and ask me to lay in the dark with him (which in translation means come lay in my bed with me). How can I refuse right?

Ok I can write about this now, but about a month ago we had a little family party for Emery's birthday. Right before all the guests started arriving, we spotted a strange bug in Landry's hair. We were a little surprised and freaking out because it sort of resembled a lice!! That was not a good place to be in, when a bunch of people were about to join you for a party. So we did quick head checks on everyone, and of course didn't find anything. Well later that night Brody turned to Auntie Stacey and told her she had a wady bug in her hair, of course he was being silly, but we were paranoid again and did more head checks. (luckily no one had lice...it was all a false alarm).

After making some paper dinosaur puppets, we threw on our exploring hats and headed out to find some dinosaur eggs.

The little guy in front of me, asked me about 40 times where his present was...he was so confused. Can you tell I was going nuts? Ok maybe not that bad...little kids are so funny.

I asked Brody to hold up 3 fingers right before we sang to him. He was so embarrassed by all the attention he was getting while we sang to him. He just had a goofy little shy like smirk on his face the whole time.
I decided to try and get some updated pictures of him since he was actually cleaned up and just got a cute haircut recently. Of course I had to throw Landry in a few...Brody loves his "brodher".





Earlier in the morning I had given him a bath, and when he was done he told me, "Look mommy my fingers are all twinkled." One of the many reasons I wish the little ones wouldn't grow up so quickly.
