Summer Officially Starts

Right after summer began we were lucky enough to have some visitors come keep us busy.  First was Angela, Kya, Lucy, and Jenae.  They came and stayed for about 2 weeks.  We had such a good time, we kept the kids super busy.  We took them on a hike up to battle creek falls in Pleasant Grove, went to the water park, the movies, the skating rink, a rodeo, a parade, and even stayed home a little bit.
Emery and I had to go to Girls Camp part of the second week they were here, so Ang offered to stay with all the kids while Bryan was working.  She is such a brave person, we were so thankful that she was willing to take care of everyone.  I know they had a great time and she was even able to see a good friend while she was hanging out at home all day.
Jenae was able to get Landry to go potty while I was gone, but of course he hasn't gone since than....urgggg.

Landry was so concerned about the dirt on his leg....he is so much like Cambree sometimes.  But he did actually hike almost the whole way by himself.  That was amazing seeing as it was mostly uphill and it was a little warm out.
While they were visiting, Strawberry Days was going on in Pleasant Grove.  Part of the fun is the rodeo they do every year.  We had such a fun time watching and cheering on the cowboys!  One of the events is the cash cow run.  They put a cow into the arena with money taped to it and than send in a million kids to chase the poor thing.  Emery, Kya and Aubrey (Emery's friend) decided to give it a try.  It was a pretty crazy to watch.  There was a great firework show at the end, and everyone had a great time.
