After a couple of days alone on the island, Ang and Jeremy flew over to meet up with us and play. This is the view as we exited a rock cave on the Napali Coast during our zodiac boat ride. It was amazing! We had so much fun on this trip, holding onto a raft for dear life, flying through the ocean was so exhilarating. (Also a little painful the next day, but so worth it). We saw dolphins, turtles, amazing landscapes, some right out of the Jurassic Park movie. We laughed so hard the whole time and just had a great time....even with the three fingered man who was awesome.

Kauai
In June Bryan and I planned a trip to Kauai.....alone....no kids.....wow it's still hard to believe. I guess its a milestone when you reach a point where the kids are old enough to be left in someone elses care while you go run around and have fun. It was much needed retreat for the both of us, not that we don't like to be around the kids 24/7. It was just nice to not have the schedules, the extra stops to potty, snacks, diapers, toys.....well I think you know where I'm going with this. It was bliss!!! I loved spending my days with Bryan checking out this beautiful island. We were in paradise, no crowds, beautiful landscapes, the ocean, and roosters (more on the roosters later). I recommend this island for a vacation to anyone. We have been to Oahu to visit Ang a few times, and always have a great time. But there are a lot of people there and it feels somewhat touristy.

We also did a little kayaking excursion together up a river that led to a hike that led to this amazing waterfall. These are only things you can do without five little kiddos tagging along. We tried to find activities that could only be done without the kiddos. They would have loved all of it though and maybe someday we can take them back. The waterfall was so incredible. They advise you to not stand under it very long because there is a chance that you get hit by falling debree from above. So we took the advice, which was fine because it was harder than it looks to stand under a waterfall....it was cold too. I did float on my back and look up into the sky, past the waterfall...it was a moment I will not forget. It was beautiful.

Jeremy was a master at kayaking....seriously we couldn't keep up haha!
I love this guy, he takes such good care of me! I'm ready for the next vacation already.
