Mr. & Mrs Retherford

This past Friday Jenna and Cragen were sealed in the Oakland Temple. Jenna is Bryan's little sister for those who are wondering. I'm bummed it has taken me so long to get on here and post about it. Our computer is about 5 yrs old now, but I think it must be like dog years in age and pushing more like 80 or something. It is very slow...there are a lot of pictures on here and maybe that has something to do with it. Perhaps that should be one of my New Years Resolutions to update a lot of our electronics, we are a little behind.

Ok back to the real post, we arrived at the Temple that morning and it was rainy and very, very foggy. So foggy you couldn't even see the Temple in the parking lot. Infact someone stopped us in the parking lot and asked us where the Temple was. We thought they were joking, but really they had never been there and so they just didn't know where the building was. The ceremony was beautiful, it was a little late getting started, but just like the sealer said, they were worth the wait. It was very special to see them together in there, as well as having all of Bryan's family there too. Fortunately when we came out of the Temple about an hour and half later the fog was gone and the rain had stopped and so they were able to take some great pictures. I'm afraid I didn't do a job great as photographer, it was freezing and I was having to watch the little guys.

I owe a big thank you to my sister her girls for hanging out with my kids while we were in the Temple. I know the kids had a great time with all of you.

Here are the bride and groom with all the nieces and nephews.

These are Cragen's siblings, his youngest brother is 10yrs old I believe. He has a great family, I wish I could have met his mother, who passed away last year, she did a wonderful job raising such a great kids.
For a Friday afternoon we had no traffic getting back to Fairfield for the reception at 5:30. The gym looked great, when you look at the pictures, check out the cool lanterns hanging from the ceiling.

I think Jenna was glad they were finally married and the day was coming to an end...she was pretty tired. Although she still looked liked a princess...according to Cambree, I agree.

"Anyone seen my bride....so cute."

Check out the lanterns...oh and the bride and groom.
I love dancing, I look forward to this part of the reception. Not too many people get up and dance, but it was a still a lot of fun.

Doesn't this sort of look like a prom picture...he he.
Here are a few snaps of people that were at the reception that some of you might recognize from the past...that is always one of the highlights of being at a reception in our home town.

Sorry I don't know everyones names, but the Marianno triplets are sitting here ;) All of them just returned from there missions.
Just a little note for those interested Cragen's Dad, Mike Retherford lives in Galt. He is a brother to Cindy Brown and Crystal Marianno from Fairfield. Jenna was always an extended part of there family and now it is official.

Shannon Lowe with her cute little guy Michael.

The guy on the end was my PE teacher in elementary school, Mr. Walsh. He actually remembered who me and my sister were...too funny.

Congratulations to Jenna and Cragen, they are perfect together and we love you!!
