BFF

This was a great way to spend an afternoon...hanging out with these two. Bobby is one our dearest and closest buds from Jr. High and High School. He was in town unfortunately for a funeral, but fortunately for us that meant we could spend some time catching up with him. Bobby is actually somewhat of a walking miracle, having survived a horrific traffic accident while on duty as a highway patrol officer. He survived a major head injury, and a few other broken bones. It was great listening to him talk about his great kids and wonderful wife Kristi.
Bobby has always been a handy kind of guy, so he was willing to help me with my gate I needed to attach to the wall. I think he just felt sorry for me, because I had made 2 previous attempts to attach the gate to the wall, but it just kept falling out, I will spare you the details, they are boring, but I really need this gate to work in order to keep Maggie out of the kids bedrooms. Why didn't Bryan help me....don't ask that question, let's just be happy there are kind people like Bobby around willing to help. Haha!!!
My kids warmed up to Bobby real quick and were jumping all over him. When Bryan came home from work to hang out with us, Cambree told him, "hey daddy your cousin is in the kitchen." So apparently he feels like family and that's pretty important to my kids. Landry wanted to show him his awesome dance moves with the Wii, so we turned it on and rocked out for a little bit.

Check out Landry, I think he was pretty impressed with Bobby's moves. We had a great time hanging out and remembering some fun times. Wish we didn't have to live so far away from people we love!

Ange is right! ;) Good to see him again, I bet! Looks like you had such a fun time. I imagine visiting you like that, and what a fun family you have to hang with! Sometime, I will have to make a visit, too.
