We are officially into summer time mood now at our house. This means the kids are sleeping in (well until about 8:00am) which is great!! Most days we are not ready to leave the house until about 10:30 or 11:00am, we just take our time. Of course Emery is back into swimming for the local swim team. She really enjoys this a lot, here are a few pictures of her at her first swim meet of the season. This was a big meet, and it was the first time she had to swim 100 yds of freestyle, which comes out to be 4 laps!! On her 4th lap, she stopped and turned to me shaking her head, saying she couldn't do it, we smiled at her and just encouraged her to keep going, and so she did, she put her head back in the water and kept on going. We were proud of her.
Grandma and Grandpa Collins came to join us for the day to cheer Emery on. After the meet we headed over to Costa Vida for lunch and Grandpa enjoyed trying to get Landry to smile, which wasn't too hard.
I love how Grandma is in the back trying to work her phone, classic!
