Today after school I decided to do something and I wasn't sure how it would work. I decided to take Chief to get his first vaccinations oh with all the kids tagging along as-well. I was mostly worried about Brody and his little Tasmanian devil self, he loves all dogs and loves to be in there faces.
We arrived and were in the process of checking in and the kids were actually really enjoying the pet hospital. There were a lot of dogs coming in and out, lots of big ones. I was so impressed with Kelci, because she is the one with a lot of anxiety about dogs, but all she did was plug her ears when one of the dogs came in growling. Chief was pretty calm in his little purse and of course was receiving a lot of attention from the staff and some of the other pet owners.
We had to wait about 30 minutes and finally the vet comes out and says, "I'm looking for a Chief" So Emery pops up with the carrier and the rest of us follow. All of sudden the guys that were all sitting and waiting with there bigger dogs began to chuckle when they realized out little tiny dog was the "The Chief." The kids thought this was funny.
We are actually getting ready to sell little chief. It's not easy, but I think once it is over the kids will be ok. We do have someone who is interested in the puppy, and she seems very sweet and really adores Chief. The kids of course are hoping she will keep his name, but I told them we may not know that. More to come later.

Your brave thats all I have to say!! So is Kelci!
Wow! I can't believe you braved going to the vet with all your kids and a dog. Chief is a cute name, but it sounds funny when they came to get him. So, why are you selling him? My sister couldn't handle a dog and had to sale hers. I don't think I could handle it either.
I thought it was cute of Brody in the earlier post toting around Chief!
Kelci is my kinda girl. I'm not a dog person either.
I love that story, I know it will be a little hard to see cheif go. I think it's because you know the other two pretty well, and cheif is like the perfect blend of both. Don't feel bad about selling him, it sounds like he is going to have a good home. I love the picture you put on here.
I attempted the vet with my two boys, commonly referred to as the Dynamic Duo by their pediatrician. They were in all the dogs faces! Even the mondo ugly pit bulls! That one gave me a fright.
Why are you selling him?
I haven't really talked too much about why I am selling him. As much as I don't mind having my sisters two dogs here, but I realize that chihuahua's are probably not the best thing to have around a lot of little kids. Brody has gotten it a few times in the face by daddy dog and it isn't that Koda is a bad dog, it's more I can't get Brody to leave him alone no matter how much the dog growls at him. He does the same thing with the puppy and it is a constant battle with him. I should also mention that we are having another baby in March...and I don't think I can handle all of it at once. The girls are understanding they are a little upset about letting such a cute puppy go, who wouldn't be, he is cute, but they will be fine.
You're pregnant!?! I thought you were done! Is that why you stopped doing the biology class? We seriously need to talk.
Oh my gosh!! You're pregnant? Congrats!! How far along are you?
