Saturday...Work Day

It's seems like the last few weekends we have had somewhere to be or other things going on away from home, so of course we could no longer ignore some of the things we were wanting to get done. One of the projects was getting a little garden planted. We have never tried this, so I feel like this year will be a lot of trial and error. The kids were really excited to help with this project though. I felt bad though because while Cambree was taking her nap, Emery, Kelci, and I finished planting all the seeds. So later in the afternoon she was so cute, she said,"yay, we go play in the garden now." I nicely told her that the garden was done now and we can't play with it anymore. She looked at me and said, "It just for looking at now mommy." The trick to this whole garden will be trying to keep little rugrats out, like Brody. He loves rocks, dirt, bark, anything that has to do with getting dirty. We are hoping our garden will produce, of course I will keep everyone posted. While I was working on this, Bryan gave both our cars a good washing...boy did they need it. Later in the afternoon, Jenna came up to visit which was fun. We love getting to spend time with her. She helped clean up the garage so we could walk around without knocking into things. It felt good to get these things done.
