Sick of Being Sick

I'm feeling so bad for my little Kelci. For the second time in two weeks, she has the flu bug. It started with Cambree, than Emery, Kelci, Brody, Cambree again and now Kelci again. What is really going on. I feel like I have washed and disinfected everything in this house, but apparently it's not enough. I feel for Kelci because she has gotten sick the most. Even our car has been sick, the van that is. That is not such a helpful thing around here. So now twice poor Kelci has had to ride in the car with her barf bowl in tow to take the car for repairs. I'm really looking forward to Spring right now. Today the temperature was almost 70 degrees, talk about a teaser.

It's all about the "Crew" said...

Caught you! Nice to see you've joined the mommy blog movement! Sorry you're dealing with so much sickness. Seems like that is probably one of the hardest parts about being a parent.

One seasoned parent in my ward recently told me that they (in their family) kind of enjoyed when someone would come down sick cause it meant more "down time". I agree, I do insist they sleep more. But, in my eyes, it means more laundry!

My Mr K (age 2) is so used to being car sick, he goes around saying "I'm gonna throw up," all the time. I think he just likes the special attention. But, it drives me crazy wondering if he is really sick or not.

One idea: Damon thinks fresh air is really important. Sometimes we'll just open windows for a bit and air out the whole house -especially if it is near 70 degrees (we're in the 40s today-finally)! Of course, you probably already have your windows open!
